Some pastors have certificates. Some have degrees. Some pastors have no training at all.
Once ‘in the field’ most pastors have little if any chance of ‘sharing experiences’ with other pastors or reflecting with others on what they are doing.
The concept of ministers’ ‘fraternals’ is unknown.

APF, at the request of church leaders, runs ‘in-service’ training retreats for pastors and their wives.

The involvement in helping the wives in these courses, is almost unique but vitally important, in helping the wives see their role in ministry alongside their husbands.
